Femtocell abroad?

I’m really tired of roaming my iPhone 3GS in Korea, so I am trying to bring other carriers to my home. By using ‘Femtocell’
Femtocell is a very small cellular base station for indoor coverage. They connect to carrier’s network via Internet and connect to the phones like normal base stations.
So what I’m going to try now is buying a Vodafone’s femtocell, known as ‘Sure Signal’ and bring it to my home. Although it says it can be used only within UK but I think using VPN might solve that problem. Thankfully, unlike AT&T’s microcell, Sure Signal doesn’t have GPS receiver inside. Which makes more workarounds to do
